With Kirk Douglas' death, I think it's a good opportunity to revisit the story that put Himmmm (and CDAN) on the map.
On CDAN, TG got in touch with Enty in 2008 (Enty's words from his "tribute" podcast) by sending stories about a few celebrities such as Hayden Panettiere. Originally, TG wasn't even in the blind item game, he would just share a story featuring all the names. Enty then started to rephrase and publish as blind items a lot of material provided by Himmmm.
Meanwhile, TG started in February 2009 an account as "Himmmm". He would make a few posts here and there, allude to being friends with Enty (one version for the origins of his alias was their shared love of The Cannonball Run) and suggest he had a few connections with major players.
Everything changed in March 2012, when Enty posted some blind item about a dirtbag actor, which resulted in a debate over his identity. Himmmm stated that it was Ryan O'Neal, then started to share "personal" stories about how much of a douchebag O'Neal was (RDJ shot one film with O'Neal in 1989), and finally posted in the comments section a long story about how Kirk Douglas had raped and mutilated Natalie Wood. Himmmm even vouched for the authenticity of his story by bragging about being one of the leads with Natasha Gregson Wagner and Heather Graham on a film (which could only be Two Girls and a Guy, where the lead was RDJ). He shared Gregson Wagner's personal phone number as evidence (well, that's actually mostly a dick move).
The comments about the rape (and maybe the phone number) were later deleted, but the content was shared in the Gawker article that got CDAN its notoriety and turned it from an obscure gossip blog to the most notorious source for blind items.

RDJ's publicist later denied that he was lurking on a gossip site, but the Gawker article resulted in a lot of coverage, and turned the blog into a hit, as Enty acknowledges it himself.
On his own, over the next few days, Himmmm made more allegations, and dropped more clues about his identity/identities, until somebody on a forum managed to connect the dots together from his past posts and shared their conclusion that Himmmm was one Talley Griffith from Virginia. It caused Himmmm to cease posting for a few months, officially because somebody that Himmmm knew, but who wasn't part of the collective, had been stalked and harassed by reporters along with a few readers.
